You want to be perfect patty or perfect Patrick

The Tale of Ramesh and Suresh

Ramesh and Suresh were close friends who both dreamed of starting their own online business.

Ramesh was a “Perfect Patrick.” He told himself, “I’ll start only when everything is perfect—when I know the best software, when my website looks flawless, when my English is polished, and when I have a full-proof plan.” So, he kept reading, researching, and waiting. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. His dream stayed in his head—shiny but untouched. These are some characteristics of a perfectionist. May be you see some of these traits in yourself and are saying ,”yes, that is me”.

What is perfect to you may not be perfect to someone anyway. It is not necessary to stress yourself by constantly trying to live up to a level of unattainable perfectionism.

Suresh, on the other hand, believed in trying. He said, “I don’t know everything, but let me start with what I have.” His first website looked ordinary, his presentations were not perfect, and his grammar wasn’t great either. But he launched, made mistakes, learned from feedback, improved step by step—and slowly, his small effort grew into a thriving business. Who is right in your opinion.?

One day, Ramesh looked at Suresh’s progress and sighed, “You started without perfection, and yet you’ve succeeded.” Suresh smiled and replied, “Brother, perfection is a journey, not a starting point. If I had waited like you, I would still be dreaming instead of learning and growing.”

Success does not come from waiting for perfection. It comes from starting, stumbling, learning, and improving. Action, even imperfect, is more powerful than a perfect plan never executed. So strive for excellence, rather than perfection.
