Think "WIN - WIN" Doctrine By Stephen R.Covey

The Win-Win Thinking formula by Stephen R. Covey in his book “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” is about constantly seeking mutual benefit in all human interactions. He explained beautifully in the 4th Habit, it's not about being nice or compromising where both parties feel they've lost something; it's about finding a "Third Alternative"—a solution where all parties feel good about the decision and are committed to the action plan. It requires a balance of courage (expressing your needs) and consideration (understanding the other's needs), rooted in the Abundance Mentality—the belief that there's enough success and resources for everyone. How it works......

Scenario: A family of four (parents and two teenagers) is deciding on a summer vacation.

Teen 1 (Win-Lose): Wants a week at a theme park; anything else is a "lame" loss.

Parent 1 (Lose-Win): Agrees to the theme park to avoid conflict, but secretly resents the cost and chaos.

The Win-Win Solution: The family discusses the underlying needs. The teens want excitement and independence. The parents want relaxation and quality time. They decide on a trip combining both: a few days near a scenic national park with hiking/water sports (fulfilling relaxation/quality time) followed by a short two-day stay at a theme park resort (fulfilling excitement/independence). This "Third Alternative" meets the most important needs of everyone.

Win-Win Outcome: Everyone is genuinely excited and committed to making the trip a success.

Scenario: You and a colleague, who are on different projects, both urgently need the company's only high-speed scanner for a critical deadline.

Win-Lose Approach: You grab the scanner first and tell your colleague they'll have to wait. They lose.

The Win-Win Solution: You approach your colleague and say, "I know we both need this scanner desperately. My critical documents are only 50 pages, but yours are over 300. How about I use it for the next hour to scan my critical pages, and then I'll immediately hand it over to you for the rest of the day, and I'll even help you prep your documents while it's scanning?"

Win-Win Outcome: You meet your immediate critical need, and your colleague gets the vast majority of the time and extra help, strengthening your professional relationship and ensuring both deadlines are met without major conflict.

Lose/Win, where one person gives in easily to please the other, often leading to suppressed feelings and resentment. He has no demands, no standards, no expectations, and no vision, and hence is easily intimidated by the ego strength of others.

Lose/Lose is the destructive outcome when two stubborn, ego-driven individuals clash, resulting in both parties suffering. A slightly less confrontational option is Win (or "Win/Don't Care"), where one person focuses only on achieving their goal, without actively trying to make the other person lose. Finally,

Covey's Daughter and Delegation: The Win-Win Agreement

Covey describes an incident with his 16-year-old daughter where he moved from a Win-Lose delegation style ("Do this task exactly as I say") to a Win-Win Performance Agreement.

The agreement included five key elements that had to be mutually understood and committed to:

Desired Results: What needs to be accomplished (e.g., a sparkling clean kitchen).

Guidelines: The acceptable parameters within which the results must be achieved (e.g., must be done before 6 PM, do not use the expensive linen towels).

Resources: The tools and support available (e.g., access to all cleaning supplies, money for a new brush).

Accountability: The standards of performance and time frame (e.g., a check-in at 5:30 PM, sparkling clean once a week).

Consequences: What will happen (positive and negative) as a result of the agreement. By jointly creating this agreement, his daughter felt empowered and accountable. Here she was liberated from monitoring on her technic, methods the way she does the work as agreed upon. She will not be punished or rewarded if she did not do the task the way we expected she should do. She was confident his standards would be met. This transformed a chore into a mutually understood Win-Win outcome.

Covey described a seminar where 800 executives gathered to reward 40 top executives. He highlights that while the talk was about teamwork and collaboration, the system—a competitive annual ranking that rewarded only the top few—was fundamentally Win-Lose.

The powerful takeaway is: If you talk Win-Win but reward Win-Lose, you'll have a losing program on your hands. Covey said, No doubt, 40 people have won, but 760 people lost. He made them use the formula of cooperation and synergize with structural changes of the organisation. This resulted next year 1000 executives gathering and 800 received awards,  besides individual awards to a few.

For Win-Win to survive in an organization, the systems (compensation, training, information) must support it. If you want teamwork, you must reward team results, not just individual heroism. The structure of rewards must align with the philosophy of cooperation.

The Third Eye: Win-Win in Sports (A Win-Lose Arena)

It's true that in a final game of a sport, the ultimate result is Win-Lose (one team wins the trophy, the other loses the game). However, looking with the "third eye" reveals profound Win-Win opportunities within the competition: we hear in most of the sports people saying one team won the game and the other won the hearts of the people. That is called Sport, not battle.

Win-Win for the Spectators/League: A fierce, respectful, and well-played competition (where both teams push each other to their limits) is a Win for the fans, media, and the sport's overall revenue and image.

Win-Win for the Athletes (Self-Improvement): Athletes on both teams Win by playing in a high-stakes, competitive environment. The opposing team pushes the winner to perform at their absolute peak, and the "losing" team gains invaluable experience, identifying weaknesses and developing resilience that fuels future growth. Both teams win by getting better.

Win-Win for the Relationship: When the competition is played with integrity and mutual respect, the relationships between the players, coaches, and organizations are strengthened, ensuring a positive long-term environment for the sport

Seeking solutions and agreements that are mutually beneficial and satisfying. The Third Alternative. "Don't compromise. Instead, look for an inventive solution that fully addresses the deepest concerns of all parties."

Character Traits: "Integrity (sticking to your values), Maturity (balance of courage and consideration), and Abundance Mentality (belief in plenty for all).",Nourish your inner security. Your belief in scarcity is the biggest threat to genuine Win-Win.

Pillars, "Emotional Bank Account (high trust), Win-Win Agreements (clear expectations), and Win-Win Systems (aligned structures)." Build trust first. A high Emotional Bank Account allows you to have the courage to seek a Win-Win without fear of damaging the relationship.

Safety Net, "Win-Win or No Deal. If a mutually beneficial solution can't be found, it is better to agree to amicably walk away than to force a detrimental, low-trust outcome." "Be willing to walk away. Knowing you can say ". "No Deal" gives you the courage to truly advocate for your own Win, making a true Win-Win more likely."

Find the Real You

When you look in the mirror, you see a face that you have known all your life. You see a person that you intimately connect with. You see you! But it is not the real you, the true you. The real you is on the inside, the inner person. And that inner person is directly re-sponsible for the outer you and the things you do or don't do. As a man thinketh in his heart, his core, his so as he is! The inner you is the core you. true being, Just as the heart of the artichoke is the prime part, your core is your best part. The core of the apple is the most important part because after all is said and done (or in this case, after all is said and eaten), the core contains the seeds that are the future of that apple. If you cut an apple in half you could count the seeds in that apple. But you could not count the future apples that are in those seeds!

The center, the core, of the pineapple is where the sweetest fruit is found. The same is true for us. The heart is the core, where our most intense thoughts,

feelings, and beliefs are found. If you can tap into that inner person and tap into the thoughts and feelings that are found there, then you can begin to tap into your "true thoughts, dreams, beliefs, and values." These are the things that make you act on your desires. These are the things that guide, direct, determine, and create.

How you live your life. This is where you determine what you will and will not do, what you go after and what you choose to ignore, what you attempt and what you shy away from. As a man thinketh in his heart, in his core, his inner man, so as he is. The core, the center, the heart is the real you.

Before you change your thinking, you have to check what kind of thing goes into your mind. IF checked and found the stuff need to be changed. So how will you control the feed?.For that your thinking to be changed first. Your thinking affects how you act and therefore what you do, just as to change your weight and health you must change what you eat. And the same is true for your mind. You must fill your mind with positive, healthy, inspirational, and encouraging material and get rid of the things that will kill your dreams and aspirations: doubt, fear, and negative thinking. Just as you are what you eat, you also are exactly what you think about. Remember that your input always determines your output. Change your thinking and change your life!

Hidden Happiness

Hidden Happiness

This is a story  or an anecdote I am not sure if anyone who have read in IoT. or knew about this please feel free to correct me and also enlighten me. it goes like

Once, upon a time when God was creating the Universe and everything in it, he realized he needed some help to figure out what to do with happiness. So he called all the angels and asked them, “ I must find a place for happiness in the world, but I am having trouble knowing what to do. If it is too easy to find, they will not value it enough. Please help me.”

Well, the angels pondered this conundrum. Then one Angel brightened and said, “What about putting it on the highest mountain top?”

God thought a moment and then shook his head. “No, I'm afraid they will eventually go there and find happiness; it will no longer be hard to find.”

The angels discussed the issue further, until another angel said, “God, what about putting it in the deepest ocean depths?”

“Thank you, but that won't work either,” God responded, sadly. “They will get there eventually as well.”

After a few more moments of thought, God's face lit up and he exclaimed, “I have it!”

“What, God?” the angels asked anxiously. “What is the solution?”

God smiled and replied, “I will put it inside of them, for they will never think to look for it there.”

And so, the moral of the story is: You can only find true happiness inside yourself. You can find external things to give you temporary 'happiness', but it is not really happiness. It is your illusion."Like the musk deer, which searches for grass again and again, unaware of the fragrance of musk in its own navel."  The only real happiness comes from your earnest choice to be happy, no matter what your circumstances are.

Maybe, Just Maybe!

Can you lift a car? No? Would you try? No? Why? Because your mind tells you that it is impossible to lift a car, so you will not even attempt to do something that your mind says is impossible. Yet there have been numerous accounts of people who have lifted cars in adverse situations.

There are countless stories of parents whose children or loved ones were trapped in cars due to accidents and they defy logic to lift the car. They do the impossible! Why? In those situations they move beyond the thought of impossible. You, too, can move beyond thoughts of impossible, Is this not true?

Author Tony Robbins who has taught for years that "we are all driven and motivated by one of the two things, the pursuit of pleasure or the avoidance of Pain". If you can just learn to think "MAYBE!" There are four levels of thoughts which determine our ability to achieve. First, there is the level of utter impossibility, where we won't even consider trying. Next is the level of doubt, where at least 51 percent of our being says that we don't think we can do it and so we tend not to try. Then there is the level of hope, where at least 51 percent says, "I think I can! Maybe!" Once you get a "maybe," you are much more apt to try. Finally, there is the level of certainty, where the mind says, "We can definitely achieve the goal." Once you try, your chances of achieving the goal rises tremendously. In life sometimes all you need is a maybe, just a maybe, because if you have a maybe you will at least try. If you try, then you have a chance of succeeding. But if you don't try, then you are guar-anteed not to achieve it. You will always miss 100 per-cent of the shots you don't take! Give your best shot, think maybe!

Land of Diamonds

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence,it is said .Or could it be that they take more time and effort on their grass than you? I was talking to a friend who was dissappointed because he didn't get a position that he thought was better than his present one, which is a position with great potential. I shared a true story with him about a farmer in Africa who became enthralled by the diamond trade. He was so anxious to get rich that he decided to sell his farm and go searching for the real riches. He sold the farm to the first person who came along and took whatever the man could give him and went to find riches. After many disappointing years without finding any diamonds, he finally gave up and threw himself over a cliff and died. Meanwhile, back at the farm, the man who bought it was walking across a stream one day and found a big shiny rock. He took it back and placed it in his drawing room. A friend came one day from the city and saw the rock and was amazed. He said, "Wow! This is a diamond, probably one of the biggest diamonds I've ever seen! Where did you find it?" The man said, "I found it in the stream, but, hey, there are a whole lot of them around here. They're all over the place." The farm became known as "Acres of Diamonds." Friends, there are diamonds in your own backyard. You have diamonds all around you. In fact, there's a diamond inside of you! All you have to do is look! The grass can be just as green and even greener on your side of the fence. Feed and water your grass and it, too, will be beautiful!

Breaking the mental barriers

If you reprogram your mind to see that things are possible, then your mind will respond to the new infor-mation and go about making those dreams come true. First you must think it is possible; then you must believe it is possible; finally you must act! Case in point: for years it was said that it was humanly impossible to run the mile in less than four minutes. It couldn't be done. Then in 1954 a young man named Roger Bannister ignored the common belief and believed that it was possible. He prepared himself and eventually he ran the mile in 3 minutes 59 seconds. He broke the time barrier as well as the mental barrier. In 1964 a young high school runner named Jim Ryun ran it in less than four minutes, and now lots of people are able to run four-minute miles and the record continues to be broken. Why? Because people realize that it is possible; it can.be done.

They have a new mind-set and their mind is now able to go after what was thought to be impossible. If you think you can or think you can't. probably right! Reprogram your mind and go after you are your dreams and I know that you will start to break some barriers in your life. Have a great day!

Invest in your Mind

Did you know that the average American reads one book a year while the average self-made millionaire reads one book a month? The average American looks at six hours per day of television while the average self-made millionaire looks at less than two hours of tele-vision. To change your thinking it is essential to change what goes into your mind. History proves that readers are leaders. The leaders usually have been the people who read more books. Readers are leaders. Benjamin Franklin once said, "If a man empties his purse into his head, no one can take it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest." I implore you to go on a course of self-development. Read more books and listen to more positive and motivational tapes. You will then program your mind with the information that your success is possible and your mind will respond in due order.

It Does Not Matter Where You Come From

A story of the man who went into the bank and was told to take whatever he wanted and he took but a penny because he didn't think he could handle any more money. To be in America and not to take advantage of the opportunities is to be like that man. Did you know that a person from another country becomes a millionaire in the U.S. five times faster than someone who is born here? Why? Because they want it more! Many come from countries with limited opportunities, countries where they might only be able to earn five dollars a week. They come to America where they can make five dollars in just an hour and often they work two or three or four jobs. Ladies and gentle-men, they do whatever is necessary to make their dreams come true. Immigrants come to this country, see all the opportunities, and then they make it happen, while many of us are still sitting around crying, whining, and complaining. There is no shortage of money. There is only a shortage of ideas and desire. Dream bigger dreams, think bigger thoughts, and make it a great day and a great life.

Power of Words

Once an eight year old boy Tom was playing in park, climbing tree and hanging around. While playing he got on top of 30 feet high tree, hanging on one of its branch and swinging back and forth. Boy was having fun and didn’t realize that branch could break.

His cousin Jim, who was just year older than him was playing on same tree. He was hanging just 10 feet below branch of that tree.

Tom father and Jim mother noticed that kids were up high on that tree and they could fall. Before they could get kids back, suddenly a gust of wind came over the tree and tree started to sway.

Tom could hear voice of his father saying, “Tom, hold on tightly.”

On the Other side Jim’s mother was saying, “Jim, Don’t fall..!!”

Just in that moment they saw that Jim had fallen out of that tree and was little hurt. Tom scampered down the tree to safety.

After getting home, Jim’s mother asked Tom’s dad, “Tom and Jim both were hanging from same tree but still  Jim fell from that tree and Tom didn’t. How?”

Tom’s father explained to her, “When gust of wind came, you yelled out  ‘Jim don’t fall’ and that’s why he did fell.”

He explained further, “Mind have a very difficulty time processing negative image. In order for Jim to process the command of not falling, he first had to image falling and then try to tell brain not to fall, when tom was told to hold on tightly he had an instant image of him hanging on tightly.”

Jim’s mother now understood the difference.

Using Positive Words will have better Results that using negative words. To Break out of Bad Habit we Need to develop Good Habit and Automatically things will start to get Better and We will feel Positive.

Levels of Thoughts

There are 4 levels of thoughts  which determine our ability to achieve or perform

First there is level of utter impossibility. where we don't even consider trying. Next is the level of doubt, where at least 51% of our being says that we don't think we can do it and so we tend not to try. Third the level of hope when at least 51% says I think I can! May be!.Once you get a "maybe" you are much more apt to try, Finally there is the level of certainty, when the mind says " we can definitely achieve the goal", rises tremendously.

Question on God's wisdom

Two twonks were having a siesta beneath a berry tree . before nap they looked at the tree in which small ripened berries were visible. One of them amazed in God's grace and creations said "In all probability God might have lost his wisdom in His few produces you know ".He made Jack fruits at arms length height.Melons on the ground and this berry which are too tiny to hold at beyond our reach height you know. The other nodded his head in approbation.a moment later a berry fell on the tip of the antagonist's nose,he shouted with scream oh my God holding his nose. The other woke up and asked him what happened ? The antagonist said nothing ,a berry fell on his nose hence he shouted. A small berry which unsettled you, imagine about what would have happened had it been a Jack fruit or a melon his companion  retorted.

The Epic Battle of Kurukshetra “Fate of Arjuna’s Chariot”

The battle of Kurukshetra was at its peak, with Arjuna and Karna locked in a fierce duel. The clash between these two mighty warriors was a sight to behold, as a flurry of arrows filled the sky. Even the devatas (demigods) were watching this epic confrontation with bated breath. Each time Arjuna shot his arrows, the sheer force would push Karna’s chariot back by 25–30 feet. The spectators were awed by Arjuna’s skill and strength.

Karna’s Valour

Karna, however, was no less formidable. His arrows, though displacing Arjuna’s chariot by only 3–4 feet, were powerful enough to cause a significant impact. What puzzled many was that Krishna, who was serving as Arjuna’s charioteer, would often applaud Karna’s prowess, but He never once praised Arjuna’s feats. This left Arjuna wondering why his achievements were not being acknowledged by Krishna, despite the apparent success in his battle against Karna.

Arjuna’s Query to Krishna

At the end of the day, Arjuna, perplexed by Krishna’s behaviour, asked, “Oh Lord, I have shot so many arrows at Karna’s chariot, and it was being displaced like a feather in the wind, but not once did you appreciate me. Rather, you would appreciate Karna’s skill despite his arrows just displacing my chariot a little.”

Krishna’s Enlightening Response

Krishna, with a gentle smile, replied, “Oh Arjuna, remember, your chariot is protected by Hanuman at the top on your flag, Me as your charioteer in the front, and by Sheshnag at its wheels. Yet, despite all these divine forces protecting your chariot, it still swayed and displaced whenever the valiant Karna hit it with his arrows.”

“But Karna’s chariot is not protected by any such divine force; he is on his own, yet he fights valiantly.”

Krishna’s words made Arjuna realize the incredible strength and determination of Karna, who, despite lacking divine protection, fought with unparalleled courage.

The Chariot’s Ultimate Fate

After the battle of Kurukshetra was over, Krishna instructed Arjuna to get down from the chariot first. Once Arjuna had alighted, Krishna also got down. The moment Krishna stepped off the chariot, it caught fire and was reduced to ashes. Krishna then revealed, “Oh Arjuna, your chariot was destroyed by Karna a long time ago. It was I who was protecting it all this time.”

The Lesson in Humility

Krishna’s final words to Arjuna carried a profound lesson: “Never in your life have the arrogance to say that you have achieved great heights on your own. If you have achieved something, it is the divine will, it is the divine intervention that has always protected you, cleared your path, and given you the right opportunities at the right time.”

Lessons to Be Learned:

Divine Protection: The story emphasizes that behind every achievement, there is often unseen divine protection and support. Arjuna’s chariot, though appearing strong, was constantly shielded by Krishna’s divine presence.

Life is like an ocean it goes up and down

Life is full of challenges, full of obstacles, and also full of opportunities and solutions. Much of what holds us back comes from the beliefs we carry. One day, a traveller came across a village. He saw a huge elephant tied with only a thin rope around its leg. The animal could break free with a single pull, yet it stood still. The guest out of curiosity asked why this mighty creature not move.? The trainer explained, “When they were young, this was enough to hold them. They grew up believing they couldn’t escape, so they never try.” In the same way, many of us carry invisible ropes—old doubts and fears—that limit our potential long after they have no real power over us.

In another place, a farmer found an eagle’s egg and placed it in a chicken’s nest. The eaglet grew up scratching the dirt, pecking for food, and never looking beyond the coop. One day, it saw an eagle soaring high above and wished it could fly like that. But the thought came: “I’m not meant for the skies; I’m just a chicken.” And it stayed grounded forever. How often do we forget who we truly are because of the environment we are in?

Then there is the story of the bamboo tree, whose seeds lie dormant in the soil for years. A man watered and cared for them daily, yet nothing appeared to grow still he continued. After five long years, suddenly a stalk shot up 80 feet in a few weeks. The bamboo had been building strong roots beneath the earth, during these years nothing was visible what was going beneath. Many of our dreams are like this—progress happens quietly, preparing us for rapid growth at the right time.

A boy once watched a butterfly struggle to emerge from its cocoon. Feeling pity, he gently broke the shell for it. The butterfly came out easily but could never fly; without the struggle, its wings had not grown strong enough. In life, some hardships exist not to hurt us, but to shape us into who we need to become.

An old hillside nomad shared wisdom with his grandson about the battle inside every person. “One wolf within us is full of anger, envy, greed, and fear. The other is full of peace, love, hope, and faith.” When asked which wolf wins, he smiled and said, “The one you feed.” What we choose to give our energy and attention shapes who we become.

Lastly, there’s the tale of the cracked pot. Each day, a water bearer carried two pots. One was perfect, the other cracked, spilling water along the path. The cracked pot, ashamed, apologized for wasting water. The bearer pointed to the flowers blooming by the trail: “Those are because of you. I planted seeds, and your leaks watered them daily.” Sometimes, our flaws and struggles create beauty and purpose that we cannot see at first.

Together, these stories remind us that our struggles are seeds, our limitations are often illusions, and our true power lies in the beliefs we choose to hold.

All these parables weave together a single powerful truth: not all belief is equal. The kind of belief that forms the foundation of growth is not blind or inherited belief—but conscious, guided belief rooted in awareness, tested by experience, and aligned with truth. The elephant’s rope is the old, unexamined belief that holds us captive; the eagle’s wings symbolize the potential that conscious belief can unlock.

True growth begins when belief is coupled with patient effort, learning, and courage. It requires feeding the right “wolf” inside us each day, nurturing the seed of faith with discipline, and embracing struggles as the training ground for strength.

In the modern sense, when belief is not merely accepted but deeply understood and consciously chosen, it becomes the unwavering foundation upon which real transformation is built.

Struggle with different messages

Struggles of our Life

Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed. Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire.

Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot and ground coffee beans in the third pot. He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing. After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup.

Turning to her, he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?” “Potatoes, eggs and coffee,” she hastily replied.

“Look closer”, he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft.

He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg.

Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.

“Father, what does this mean?” she asked.

He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity-the boiling water. However, each one reacted differently. The potato went in strong, hard and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak. The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard. However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.

“Which one are you?” he asked his daughter. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean?”In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is how you choose to react to it and what you make out of it. Life is all about learning, adopting and converting all the struggles that we experience into something positive.Every obstacle or adversities come in our life indicates something. If we take as a normal challenges and make up our mind this is momentary and will go very soon.Though easier said than done but if we alter our mind and ponder for solution nature and circumstances will come forward to help you.Though you never know who or why it happened. This is life.

A Drunk man and his wisdom

A policeman sees a drunk man searching for something under a streetlight and asks what the drunk has lost. He says he lost his keys and they both look under the streetlight together. After a few minutes the policeman asks if he is sure he lost them here, and the drunk replies, no, and that he lost them in the park. The policeman asks why he is searching here, and the drunk replies, “this is where the light is”.We are of course not drunk like these but we are so addicted in life miseries that we too are searching the truth and wisdom where we least want to look at.And also who are officially assigned to do these tasks too search in dark to find the truth.

10 Auto Suggestions by Dale Carnegie's

Excerpts from his book "How to stop worrying and start living"

1. Just for today I will be happy. This assumes that what Abraham Lincoln said is true, that "most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be. Happiness is from within, it is not a matter of externals.

2. Just for today I will try to adjust myself to what is, and not try to adjust everything to my own desires. I will take my family, my business, and my luck as they come and fiu myself to them.

3. Just for today I will take care of my body, I will exercise it, care for it, nourish it, not abuse it nor neglect it, so that it will be a perfect machine for my bidding

4. Just for today I will try to strengthen my mind. I will learn something useful. I will not be a mental loafer. I will read something that requires effort, thought and concentration

5 Just for today I will exercise my soul in three ways; I will do somebody a good turn and not get found out. I will do at least two things I don't want to do, as William James suggests, just for exercise

6. Just for today I will be agreeable. I will look as well as I can, dress as becoming as possible, talk low, act courteously, be liberal with praise, criticize not at all, nor find fault with anything and not try to regulate nor improve anyone.

7. Just for today I will try to live through this day only, not to tackle my whole life problem at nice. I can do things for twelve hours that would appall me if I had to keep them up for a lifetime

8. Just for today I will have a program. I will write down what I expect to do every hour. I may not follow it exactly, but I will have it. It will eliminate two pests, hurrying and indecision.

9. Just for today I will have a quiet half-hour all by myself and relax. In this half-hour sometimes I will think of God, so as to get a little more perspective into my life

10. Just for today I will be unafraid, especially I will not be afraid to be happy, to enjoy what is beautiful, to love, and to believe that those I love, love me

If we want to develop a mental attitude that will bring us peace and happiness.

Think and act cheerfully, and you will feel cheerful.

For transforming of minds which has ocean of negativity of the world

Exercise or do practice and comment if these tools to alter minds for building confidence, reducing negativity, and supporting emotional healing.

Believable and effective affirmations are positive statements crafted to feel personally realistic, specific, and emotionally resonant, helping to gradually reshape a person’s mindset and behavior. Crafting affirmations that truly work involves several mindful steps.

Focus on One Area: Pick a specific aspect of life or emotional challenge you want to improve, such as confidence, self-worth, or stress.

Keep it Present and Positive: Phrase affirmations in present tense, as if the desired change is already happening (e.g., “I am becoming more confident every day”).

Make It Credible: Choose words and goals that seem attainable from your current mindset. If a big goal feels unbelievable, start with smaller steps that you can genuinely accept (e.g., instead of “I am completely happy,” try “I am learning to find moments of happiness”).

Be Specific and Personal: Tailor affirmations to your actual situation, needs, and dreams. The more personal and precise, the more motivating and believable it will be.

Use Empowering Language: Avoid negatives and focus on growth, kindness, or self-compassion (e.g., “I always try my best and that is enough”).

Go Neutral if Needed: When positive statements feel too far-fetched, use neutral affirmations to bridge the gap, such as “I am doing my best every day” or “It’s okay to feel this way while I keep moving forward”.

Practical Examples

“I am taking small, positive steps each day towards my goals.”

“I am worthy of respect and kindness.”

“Each day, I recognize my strengths a little more.”

“I am open to learning and growing through challenges.”

“It’s okay to take time to heal; I am patient with myself.”

“My efforts are valuable, and I make a difference.”

Daily Affirmation Practice

Repeat affirmations regularly—ideally every morning and night.

Write them down in journals or place visible reminders on sticky notes.

Adjust statements over time as your belief grows and circumstances change.

By following these steps and making affirmations personal and realistic, their effectiveness increases significantly for building confidence, reducing negativity, and depressions.

Auto suggestions are positive statements or phrases that a person repeats to themselves, aiming to transform negative thoughts and beliefs into constructive, confident, and healthy mindsets. When used regularly, auto suggestions can help change subconscious beliefs, making them a widely recommended tool in positive thinking, self-help, and motivational practices, especially for those experiencing depression or low confidence.

What Are Auto Suggestions?

Auto suggestion is the mental technique of intentionally repeating positive phrases to oneself so that these thoughts gradually become beliefs embedded in the subconscious mind. The process involves:

Choosing specific areas to improve (like confidence or mood).

Crafting believable, positive sentences.

Repeating these affirmations daily until the mind starts accepting and acting upon them.

How Do Auto Suggestions Work?

Repetition: Regularly repeating supportive phrases helps overwrite old, negative thought patterns with new, empowering ones.

Believability: Phrases must be realistic and believable for the person.

Routine: Making it part of daily routines, such as morning or bedtime, increases effectiveness and consistency.

Positive Focus: Shifting the mind’s focus away from faults or failures to strengths and possibilities promotes resilience and self-esteem.

Auto Suggestion Examples for Depression & Low Confidence

Here are some practical auto suggestions that can help transform a person’s mindset and boost their self-confidence when feeling low or depressed:

“Every day, in every way, I’m getting better and better.”

“I am capable of handling anything that comes my way.”

“I am worthy of love, respect, and happiness.”

“I am stronger than my challenges and wiser than my doubts.”

“Mistakes are learning opportunities, not failures.”

“I am learning and growing with each challenge I face.”

“My confidence is growing every day.”

“I am proud of what makes me unique.”

“My present mood does not define my future.”

“I choose to focus on what I can control and let go of what I can’t.”

Daily Practice Tips

Repeat each auto suggestion 10–20 times each morning and night.

Use a counting string with knots (as described in motivational manuals) to keep track and bring focus.

Write them down in a journal or on sticky notes.

Adjust sentences so they feel personal and believable.

Pair these with self-care actions like connecting with positive people, being active, and practicing creative hobbies.

When practiced consistently, these auto suggestions can help reduce negative thinking, empower self-esteem, and support recovery from depressive moods. Try and create own belief system.

Slow and steady still wins the race

“Slow and steady wins the race.” For centuries, this simple line served as reassurance that patience and persistence would prevail over haste. Yet the proverb now faces its hardest test. Moore’s Law, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation are propelling society at a pace faster than most of us can comprehend. This is no longer a hare-and-tortoise parable. It is a question of how human beings can survive a world that seems to run on sprint speed while we can only walk.

Technology today evolves faster than our ability to adapt. Every two years, processing power doubles, AI models leap forward, and industries reconfigure themselves. Smartphones, cars, homes, and even our social lives are shaped by this relentless acceleration. In such a world, does steadiness still have a place? The answer is yes, because speed alone does not guarantee progress.

Take the case of gadgets. Each smartphone season unleashes dazzling new devices with cameras that rival cinema, memory that can store lifetimes, and design meant to dazzle. Many sprint to buy the latest, fearing irrelevance. Yet, the steady user who changes devices only when needed enjoys equal functionality without financial strain or mental fatigue. Running fast in the gadget race often only means running in circles.

Nowhere is this frenzy clearer than in education. Across India and much of the world, campuses resemble five-star resorts. Gleaming auditoriums, air-conditioned classrooms, and state-of-the-art labs consume massive public spending. But when graduates emerge unemployable, without skills, without fundamentals, the glamour reveals its emptiness. True education is not about sprinting towards brand or infrastructure. It is the tortoise’s patience: careful teaching, deep learning, and sustained mentoring. Without steady foundations, technology and money cannot create capable citizens.

The hospital sector offers a similar paradox. Today, hospitals advertise like luxury hotels, corporate interiors, cutting-edge machines, wellness packages. Yet the patient remains just that: a patient. Faster scans and shinier beds do not assure faster healing. What cures illness is steady care, consistent monitoring, and the patience of a doctor or nurse. In the rat race of healthcare branding, the simple truth remains: slow and steady compassion does more than flashy speed.

Even in professional life, speed dazzles but steadiness sustains. Engineers and IT workers often scramble to chase every emerging AI tool or coding framework. In the rush to keep up with speed itself, many end up confused, fatigued, or obsolete. Meanwhile, professionals who slowly but steadily master fundamentals adapt more gracefully to waves of change. The hare burns out; the tortoise adapts and endures.

The same lesson shines in health and lifestyle. Diet apps, crash programs, and intense gyms promise quick fixes. But health, like wisdom, is never instant. The steady walker, the mindful eater, the disciplined sleeper, these are the ones who enjoy long-term fitness. Technology may speed up data, but it cannot accelerate the slow biology of growth and healing.

Finance provides perhaps the clearest proof. Hares of the stock market sprint after highs, chasing trends and tips to outsmart rivals. But more often than not, they trip over volatility. The tortoise investor, who steadily saves and invests month after month, builds unshakable wealth. Patience and compounding quietly outpace the chaos of short-term speculation.

So, does “slow and steady wins the race” still hold true in the 21st century? The evidence suggests not only that it survives, but that it matters more now than ever. Speed dazzles us with gadgets, campuses, and glossy hospitals. Yet behind the shine lies a hollowness. Steadiness, on the other hand, builds resilience, not Instagram appeal, but real value.

The world may sprint ahead with AI and machines. But human beings win not by running faster than technology, rather by moving steadily, wisely, and sustainably. The hare may rule the sprint, but the tortoise still wins the civilization.

Immigrant attitude

Most immigrants come to any country or a state or a place with an entirely different kind of attitude.they like being the underdogs.Very polite, obedient very sincere and fiscally honest.Always ready to grab any job with both hands. They scarcely hesitate to choose good, better or best job. At that moment they are focused like Arjun of Mahabharata epic.Only after making sure their both ends meet fulfillment. Then they struggle for more and more but not going to stop even after their accomplishments of earning rise. They know and actually they believe that they are going to win in every ordeal. They don't waste their time in searching the merits of long term ,short term apportunity.they see this as the land of opportunities. And they knew as people who usually  do not take advantage of free opportunities. Thats the secret of most immigrants who becomes millionaire in a very short span than those locals born and brought up there. Because they want it more. Many come from limited opportunities where they can earn 50 rupee a week and here they earn 50 rupee an hour. They even work at different places for that 'more' as much as their body permits. And when they make it happen while many of us are sitting around crying, whining and complaining. There is no shortage of money or jobs, there is only shortage of will. Some are doing business as symbolic as they can . look at autowallas they will sit there in their auto stand in their Auto do bargain for hours only for one customer without accepting reasonable amount. In the meantime another autowalla will stop in a hurry ask to sit in and auto moves on. The former want one customer with fat charge and he is happy with that for whole day . The later wants to use his time as much as he can with 10 trips or more for customers that is his level and style of earning and happiness in a day . Just imagine who is interested in really business, earning or job.? This is symbolic business it has nothing to do with earning or job need.

who is creating unrest?

Tolerance is the prime tool which every Indian used and was using being a country of peace, love equality,  prosperity ,morality, ethics, good manners, etiquette, honesty, patriotism, respect for all,/all religions and above all humanity for mankind. This is evident that so far you are bound or abide by these ingredients of any society you need not to explain what you are and your ideology is . Few may laugh at my statement, they are entitled to.Some may criticise, they are free to ,it is our fundamental right enshrined in the Indian Constitution . Some modern models may argue where on this earth we will find these applied cited terms. We have changed to modern era! What we call the modern Indian civilization has been nourished and developed by multiracial contributions. From times immemorial, diverse races migrated into India by via various routes and got themselves settled here. In course of time they are absolutely absorbed and gracefully accepted in India’s social life.!Modern !Indians changed ?. No my friends nothing has changed.Only our perception prism seems to have changed. The way of seeing other human being has changed. We see them with their religion, caste, creed, clan, colour, language etc etc. But we don't view them as indians and only indians. Now how our measuring scale changes when we are in Silicon Valley or in any other countries our identity become Indians regardless of all these barriers. No indian Muslim, Indian Hindu, Indian Sikh or indian Christian. Further indian Brahmin, Indian Dalit. But the moment we land on mothorland or home land we are known with variants in identity. Similarly with fellow muslim and other religion's will see the identical similarities. The diversity is our culture and  strength. It has become an integral part of life,  with this notion we are taught and we grew up.The true pictures can be had from the rural area or from a govt. or company employees residential quarters, here this unity in diversity is in practice in words and spirit. In the present scenario can we introspect that these things are obsolete and no one follow or bothered about. Then you are altogether ignorant or straight landed from another planet. If anyone is a fb (Facebook) or Whatsapp enthusiast or a keen observer of the trend. Will see the people have not changed yet. Beautiful instances of humanity and with other motivating inspiring posts  enlighten our staid and stale life on daily basis. Are they from different land ? When you call a society ,No society is immune to these evils. Just like computer entered into our life. Virus too followed with it.Some miscreants have planned propaganda skillfully to influence public opinion. They knew very well that clever and persistent use of this media the people's mind can be very effectively biased in favour of or against anything. To distinguish fact from fables behind this blinding smokescreen of propaganda is also an uphill task for the poor illiterate mass to be easy prey for them. In this maze of propaganda the common man often finding it impossible to disentangle right from wrong or justice from injustice. Hence when masses of the people are sufficiently educated to judge instantly what the undercurrent motives is, then they will themselves refuse to fall an easy victim to this hype as it may be.India is a unique mosaic of cultures. India is, in fact, a panorama of its own types unmatched to any.Cultures and religions have made India’s culture tolerant, on the one side, and a unique continuing and living culture on the other side. Those who are supposed to be part of solution are found in the que they are the real problem.

Japanese Protest or Strike a unique Win-Win approach

In India , any form of strike or protest is well known to everyone. Pressurise govt. or management to meet their demands. We never bothe...
